Central Coast Backflow Specialist (CCBS), is a family run business operating from the Central Coast since 1999. Our core objective is to provide a professional service that will assist in ensuring safe drinking water for everyone. To help achieve this objective, we have ensured that we have kept abreast of the latest standards and procedures for the testing, installations, repairs and servicing of all types of backflow prevention devices.
Peter Damaso is the manager and partner of CCBS. He is a licensed Plumber, Drainer and Gasfitter with over 40 years of plumbing experience and over 27 years of exclusive backflow prevention experience. Peter’s accomplishment includes
- Competed the extra TAFE training in Backflow Prevention
- Completed the extra TAFE training in Thermostatic Mixing Valves
- Ensured that we have and follow the latest Australian Standards for testing
- Regularly attending backflow conferences and seminars
- Being actively involved within the backflow arena
- We are members of the Backflow Prevention Association of Australia (BPAA)
- Held the position of a Director and the National President of the Backflow Prevention Association of Australia
- Member of the International Plumbers Network (IPN)
- Written backflow articles in Plumbing journals
- Spoken at conferences both here in Australia and overseas
- Created educational videos for a major backflow manufacturer (AVG WATTS AUSTRALIA)
Nathan Damaso is our leading hand. He is also a licensed Plumber, Drainer Gasfitter with over 25 years of experience. Starting as an apprentice with us, he is now a competent licensed Backflow Plumber. Nathan’s duties also include looking after our IT infrastructure and has designed and built our database and record management software. Nathan has,
